Textbook Options

The bookstore offers several options, including:

  • Purchase: New and used textbooks are available to own.
    • Some purchased textbooks can also be sold back to the JCCC Bookstore at the end of the semester to recoup a portion of the costs during the buyback window.
  • Rental: Rentals are generally less expensive than purchasing but must be returned at the end of each semester.
  • DayOne Access: Some classes use DayOne Access. This is a low-cost digital textbook that you will have access to beginning on the first day of class. Visit the DayOne Access webpage for more information.
  • Third Party: Students may also use the ISBN number to search for and purchase books from third party sellers. If you go this route, be sure you purchase the correct textbook edition to ensure the content aligns with what is being covered in the class.
