Paying for College
JCCC offers a variety of options to make paying for college easier and more affordable. From convenient online and in-person payment options to financial aid, scholarships, military/veteran benefits, payment plans, and more, there are resources to fit different needs and situations. Click the button to learn more about each of these options plus instructions on how to check your balance due.
Payment Deadline
If you enroll in classes on or before the payment deadline, you must make payment arrangements by the payment deadline or risk being dropped for non-payment. This date is generally about a week before the semester begins. Visit the Academic Calendar for the specific date and time that payment is due.
Financial Aid
Financial aid is money that helps you pay for college expenses like tuition, books, and sometimes living costs. It can come in the form of grants, scholarships, work-study jobs, or student loans. The Financial Aid Office on campus is your go-to resource for understanding and applying for these options. They can help you complete the FAFSA, explain your award letter, and answer questions about payment plans or eligibility. Visiting the Financial Aid Office early ensures you have the support you need to make college affordable.
Apply for JCCC Scholarships
Scholarships are financial awards that do not have to be repaid, making them a great way to help fund your education. JCCC awards millions of dollars in scholarships every year to qualified students, so be sure to complete your JCCC Scholarship Application annually to stay eligible.
The priority deadline to submit the JCCC Scholarship Application is April 1st for the upcoming academic year. However, we accept applications throughout the year, so be sure to apply even if you miss the priority deadline.
Understanding Money Management
Getting a handle on your money doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. JCCC has partnered with Financial Avenue to provide you with the basics of personal money management. These free online courses help demystify the world of personal finance and empower you with knowledge.
