Student Code of Conduct

JCCC is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive learning and working environment. The JCCC Student Code of Conduct outlines the standards of behavior all students are expected to follow. It defines policies around topics such as academic integrity, disruptive behavior, financial responsibility, tobacco use, and more.

Title IX

Title IX is a federal law that protects students and employees from sex‑based discrimination, including sexual harassment and sexual misconduct, in any educational program or activity receiving federal funding. JCCC is committed to providing a safe, equitable learning environment and prohibits discrimination based on sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, and other protected characteristics in all its programs and activities. Students can report concerns to trained Title IX Coordinators, who are available to offer support, explain rights, and guide individuals through reporting and resolution options.

Campus Police

Campus Police

The JCCC Police Department patrols campus 24-hours a day, 365 days a year, and is made up of sworn law enforcement officers dedicated to keeping our campus safe.


What Students Should Know

  • They’re Here 24/7: Officers are on campus day and night to help whenever you need them.
  • Safety Escorts: If you ever feel unsafe, JCCC Police can walk you anyone on campus.
  • Motorist Assistance: JCCC Police help with car issues like lockouts or jump‑starts.
  • Lost & Found: If you lose personal property on campus, contact JCCC Police to see if anyone has turned it in.
  • Contact Information: Call 913-469-2500, visit them at the Midwest Trust Center (MTC 115), or use the Guardian App.
